Hamilton County Brides

Linda Search and Ken Carlsen, both of Noblesville, will be married at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. The flower girls are Isabelle Morrow of Appleton, Wis., and Kiersten Riedford of Carmel. The ring bearer is Keenan Riedford of Carmel. Linda is the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Search. She is employed by WHMB TV-40 in Noblesville. Ken is the son of the late Odd and Martha Carlsen. He is employed by Century Personnel in Carmel.

Danny and Erin Bush, stationed at Ft. Leonardwood, Mo., joined family and friends on July 4, 2008 in Sheridan to celebrate their spring wedding with friends and ZiZi, who enjoyed some cake. Bush, a drill sergeant, has served in Sinai and Afghanistan and was awarded the Bronze Star during his tour in Iraq. He and Erin Huff Bush were married on Mar. 20, 2008. Both serve in the U.S. Army, where Erin Bush, a native of Carmel, is a surgical tech.

Lindsay Hart of Noblesville and Phillip Wink of Evansville celebrated their wedding June 1, 2008 at Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel. The maid of honor was Tami Rose of Carmel. Bridesmaids were Heather Rose of Arcadia, Ann Demery of Fishers and Breann Rose of Arcadia. Flower girl was Audra Martin of Indianapolis. The best man was Brian Wink of Evansville. Groomsmen were Mike Garringer of Fishers, Brannon Cater of Evansville and Mark Flittner of Evansville. Ring bearer was Sorin Martin of Indianapolis. Ushers were Sebastian Martin and Atticus Martin of Indianapolis and Tyler Cloud of Arcadia. The officiant was The Rev. Paul Demery of Fishers. Escorted by the brother of the bride, David Martin of Indianapolis. Lindsay is the daughter of Norma Hart of Arcadia and the late Fred Hart. She is a 1996 graduate of Noblesville High School and is currently employed as a nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Phillip is the son of Larry and Bonnie Wink of Evansville. He is a 2001 graduate of Ball State University and is currently employed at Odle, McGuire, and Shook in Indianapolis.

Corey Owen of Arcadia and Brian Burkhardt of Westfield celebrated their wedding June 18, 2008 in Sunset Beach, Fla. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Bill Underwood. The flower girls were Tayia and Miaya Owen. The best man was Charles Burkhardt. Groomsman was Don Johnson. Corey is the daughter of Rick and Lori Owen. Brian is the son of Charles and Donna Burkhardt.

Sondra Nimety of Pennington Gap, Va., and Randall Ward, Jr., of Ben Hur, Va., formerly of Noblesville, announce their wedding. The ceremony and reception took place April 6, 2008, at Leeman Field Park in Pennington Gap with the Rev. Robert Reeves officiating. The maid of honor was Lara Nimety, daughter of the bride. The flower girl was Alyssa Goodman, daughter of the bride. The bridesmaid was Rosetta Jennings, a friend of the bride, of Virginia. The bride was given away by Seth Nimety, son of the bride. The best man was Joel Bragg, nephew of the groom, of Noblesville. The groomsman was Austin Nimety, son of the bride. The ring bearer was Noah Goodman, son of the bride. The couple resides in Pennington Gap. Sondra is the daughter of Bobbie Stewart of Poor Valley, Va. She teaches aide at Headstart in Virginia. Randall is the son of Randall Sr. and Mary Ward of Stickleyville, Va., formerly of Noblesville. He is the owner of Randy’s Lawn Care and Auto Detailing.

Ashley Marie Shade of Fishers and Christopher Ryan Chance of Noblesville celebrated their wedding Aug. 4, 2007, at White River Christian Church in Noblesville. The Rev. Time Brock of White River Christian Church of Noblesville and the Rev. Darryl Moulder of Union Town, Ohio, officiated the afternoon wedding. The bride’s honor attendant was Angie Powlen. Her attendants were Sara Miller, Anita Brown and Taylor Shade. The groom’s best man was David Riedchald. His attendants were Ryan Nolton, Owen Cutney and Jerry Watson. The reception followed the ceremony at the Palamono Ballroom in Zionsville. The couple traveled to Sedona, Ariz., for their honeymoon. Ashley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Shade of Fishers. She is a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School and Ball State University. She is employed as a dress designer for Dame Elizabeth Historic Costumes, an instructor at Beads Amore and as a sales associate for Stein Mart in Noblesville. Christopher is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Chance of Noblesville. He is a graduate of Noblesville High School and Indiana Wesleyan University. He is employed at RTI Indianapolis.

Jillian Mourey of Indianapolis and Taylor Simonis of Westfield celebrated their wedding Dec. 29, 2007, in Playa De Carmen, Mexico. The ceremony was on the beautiful beach at the Gran Puerto Resort followed by dinner and dancing on the beach. The Maid of Honor was the sister of the bride, Carly Mourey of Indianapolis. The Best Man was the brother of the groom, Taner Simonis of Charlotte, N.C. The couple took their honeymoon in Playa De Carmen. The couple resides in Indianapolis. Jillian is the daughter of Ray and Sandy Mourey of Indianapolis. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College and works as a teacher at St. Simon School. Taylor is the son of Jill Simonis of Westfield and John Simonis of Neenah, Wis. He is also a graduate of St. Joseph’s College and works for Enterprise—Truck Division.

Lindsey Muinzer of Otterbein, Ind., and Grant Fausset of Sheridan celebrated their wedding July 21, 2007, at Central Presbyterian Church in Lafayette with the Rev. Gary Hall officiating. The reception was celebrated at Elks County Club in West Lafayette. The Maids of Honor were the bride’s sisters, Alicia Crowe and Marissa Crowe of Otterbein. The flower girls were Kelsie and Kendall Curry of Lubbock, Texas. The bridesmaids were Betsy Beutler of Indianapolis, Amber Miller of Indianapolis, Jessica Kohlmeyer of Fishers, Sarah Probasco of Noblesville, Michelle Hasegawa of Carmel and Courtney Metzinger of Otterbein. The Best Man was the groom’s brother, Neil Fausset of Sheridan. The groomsmen were Kyle Spray of West Lafayette, Griff Quirk of Lafayette, Travis Delph of Westfield, Dan Rhodes of Lafayette, Chris Trout of Indianapolis, Josh Larsh of Kokomo and BJ Rule of West Lafayette. The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica. They currently reside in Lubbock, Texas. Lindsey is the daughter of Jerry and Angie Crowe of Otterbein and Leonard Muinzer of Lafayette. She is a 2005 graduate of Purdue University and is currently a Spanish teacher at O.L. Staton Middle School in Lubbock. Grant is the son of Dennis and Linda Fausset of Sheridan. He is a 2004 graduate of Purdue University and is currently the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Lacey Amanda Brown of Mulberry and Aaron Matthew Sheller of Noblesville celebrated their wedding on Dec. 1, 2007, at Fishers United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donna Enersen and the Rev. Mike Reed officiating. The reception was held at Adaggios Banquet Hall in Greenfield, Ind. The maid of honor was Heather Brown of Frankfort. The matron of honor was Anissa Need of Monticello. Bridesmaids included Amy Sheller of Noblesville, Ashley Brattain of Lapel, Amanda Hilberg of Michigan City, Robin Parkhurst of Pendleton and Ashley Richardson of Brownsburg. The flower girls were Hannah Brown of Mulberry and Emma Need of Monticello. The best man was Adam Sheller of Noblesville. Groomsmen included Scott Pierce of Texas, Ben Lehman of Noblesville, Eric Parker of New Jersey, Ty Brown of Mulberry, Cole Holloway of Pittsboro and Michael Pollard of Tennessee. Ringbearers were Jayden and Landon Brown of Mulberry. The couple spent their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They now reside in Noblesville. Lacey is the daughter of Hal and Sue Brown of Mulberry. She is a 2002 graduate of Rossville High School and a 2006 graduate of Indiana State University. She works as an exercise specialist/ athletic trainer for Riverview Sportsmedicine in Noblesville. Aaron is the son of Sherry Sheller of Noblesville and the late David Sheller. He is a 2002 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School and a 2007 graduate of Purdue University. He is the owner and manager of Sheller Farms and is also an Indiana Crop Insurance Facilitator/ Support director for Indiana Spray Center/ John Deere.

Kristi L. Merrill and Dr. Kevin A. Gibbs were married Oct. 20, 2007 in Negril, Jamaica. The wedding took place on the cliffs overlooking the Carribean Sea. A dinner and reception followed outdoors with a Jamaican steel pan band performing. Honor attendants included the sister of the bride, Cindi Merrill of Oxford, Ohio as maid of honor. Jeff Gibbs of Noblesville, brother of the groom, was the best man. Sarah Gibbs and Becky Gibbs Fleming also were bridal attendants. Zach Fleming was an attendant along with Ella and Avery Fleming as flower girls. The bride’s grandmothers also were present, Lou Ella Brunette of Indianapolis, and Lucille Merrill of Terre Haute. The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Jane Merrill of Noblesville. Kristi graduated from Noblesville High School in 1997 and DePauw University in 2001. She currently is working in marketing and design for Drapery Street, Clay Terrace. The groom is the son of Dr. Thomas and Patty Gibbs of Bloomington. Kevin is a 1996 graduate of Bloomington North High School. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, 2000 and I.U. School of Medicine, 2004. He is a senior resident in anesthesiology and will graduate in July. A large reception was held for the couple in November at the Rathskellar in downtown Indianapolis. Kristi and Kevin currently reside in downtown Indianapolis.
